Nylon is the most common fiber used to produce tricot textile fabric lining. Nylon tricot is a very lightweight stretch lining fabric often used inside garments, shorts, intimates, gowns, shoulder pad covers, and also on laminated foams.
Tricot lining items are comfortable to wear, see through, stretch and a cling free textile fabric. Chiffon and charmeuse fabric go well with tricot lining.

Colors of tricot linings are endless and colorfast if dyed properly. Usually tricot lining colors are ordered to match upon requests.

Tricot lining nylon 40 denier textile fabric normally comes in 108” width. They are double folded with one side closed. This makes it easy to spread as a 54” fabric on the cutting table.

 Care For Tricot 40 Denier Fabric Lining 
 
The care for nylon tricot lining is easy. It could be warm machine washed and dried at low temperature. Tricot lining must be removed immediately upon drying. Never use hot iron on nylon tricot lining fabric.
 
 Sewing Tricot Lining 
 
Sewing Tricot lining fabrics are recommended with ball point needle and fine thread. Do not prewash the fabric. It will cause the sides to roll making tricot lining very difficult to sew.
